History
Ashanti  was founded in March of 1990  in Fort Lauderdale, Florida by Linda Houston Jones. The name Ashanti is a royal West  African Tribe  known for it's Cultural Richness and Diversity. Ashanti has been serving communities for over 20 years with classes and entertainment in the Arts since the organizations founding.
Mission
                              Ashanti’s mission is to provide
                             communities with premiere programs                                    in literacy, music, dance, and wellness
classes.
                              The  mission of Ashanti is acheived                                       through its Arts in Education, After                                     School Programs, Summer Camps,                                      Wellness programs, and Main Stage        Productions. Ashanti has received many prestigious
                 awards, and recognition
